Mikado Asian Bistro and Lounge in Canton Village officially opens its doors Wednesday.
Located in the former Rice Fields, owners have spent the last two months upgrading the interior with new tile floors, new Sushi bar, lounge area, wall and ceiling treatments, lighting and furniture. A soft opening was held Tuesday.
This is owner Bob Yu's second Mikado restaurant. The original location in Middletown is known for its Sushi and Sashimi dishes.
The Mikado menu includes some of the Rice Fields dishes. The restaurant offers a full range of Japanese and Asian cuisine in an upscale, but casual atmosphere. Front and rear rooms can also host special events and parties.
