1. The CHS football team is due to play Avon at 4 p.m. today. The game takes place at AHS. In other contests, the field hockey and girl volleyball teams take on Suffield. Let's hope it's not too hot to play.

3. Suzy Bogguss comes to Bridge Street Live tonight.
4. The National Weather Service predicts a day with partial sun and a high near 79.
