It was named a 2010 Grammy Signature School and a silver medal winner in the 2010 U.S. News and World Report Best High School search.</p> <p>Sports teams have won numerous state championships, and the school's athletics program continues to grow. In 2007, varsity football returned to Canton after a 43-year absence.</p> <p>The school's community involvement remains high, with organizations like the Canton Athletic Boosters Club, Canton Education Foundation, Canton Dollars for School and Canton Parents as Teachers. </p>
