Originally hailing from West Hartford, LaSalle Market & Deli moved its location to downtown Collinsville in 1984. In its most recent form, the sandwich and pizza deli/restaurant has become a hub of social activity. Lasalle offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert fare at an affordable price -- including its specialty thin-crust pizza. Friday nights are usually exceptionally busy, as customers flock to hear the diverse bands that play at LaSalle's free Open Mic Night from 6pm to 9:45pm. The restaurant also caters events, parties and weddings; see LaSalle's website or drop by for more information.

Great atmosphere, decent food.

The atmosphere is fun, casual, comfortable and random - a great mix of college town coffee shop and old-school deli. One of the best places to sit, relax and have a drink in the Farmington Valley. Also a great place to bring children.

The food though, is just OK - nothing special. The orders often get mixed up and the sandwiches aren't anything special. On the upside, they have a varied menu with lots of specials.

A bit over-priced for what you get. The food is decent but it the bill quickly adds up and the portions are often small.

However, it is the only thing keeping Collinsville alive and is a great place to meet up for coffee or lunch.

the food is good. but portion sizes are VERY small for the amount of money you pay. Service is okay, not the best. For the money, I'd rather drive down the road to Panera Bread. I'm big on supporting local companies & businesses, but LaSalle Market has gone down hill in the last few years. WAY too much money for the type of food you are getting.

Food is generally amazing, with lots of selection and lots of selection to drink as well. Lots of made fresh stuff that you have just got to check out. MUCH cheaper than Crown And Hammer (but what isn't?) Only reason I give it a 4 is because the seating layout is a bit chaotic and it's very easy to spend a lot of money there.

I worked @ LaSalle Market in 1984 !!! I had a broken leg & lived 3 building up the road ~ above Eaton Hardware ~ The brothers that owned the store were WONDERFUL to work for. I remember Mrs. Perry coming in once a week to buy her carton of cigs. ~ she would also inform me when her sister Kate was coming into town... in her words.. she would say ' Well, Damnit, Kate is coming into town this week-end ' I miss the simple life Collinsville offered me back then... :) Lady Charlene :)
