Highlights for the week of Oct. 7 to Oct. 13, 2013.
Good morning Canton. Today is Monday, Oct. 7 and it's a busy week here in Canton.
1. At 10 a.m. Tuesday the town tree warden will host a hearing on the removal of two locust trees in Collinsville. The issue has stirred up a little debate in town. Those who can't make the meeting can submit a letter. See details here.
2. Wednesday night the town will hold a town meeting to accept funds for downtown Collinsville improvements.
3. Tuesday evening Gordon Hayward presents "The Uses of Stone in the Garden" at 7 p.m. in the Canton Public Library.
4. Rickie Lee Jones comes to Bridge Street Live Tuesday night.
5. The Middle School Girls Fall Volleyball clinic takes place at Valley Sports Center Thursday night.
6. Cartoberfest is set to roll out next Sunday.
