Walk for Hunger Set for Saturday

Proceeds will benefit the Canton Food Bank.

Focus on Canton will present the third-annual walk for hunger on Saturday May 12. The event is a 2.7-mile walk through Collinsville and will begin and end at the Community Center. It starts at 1 p.m. and ends around 3 p.m.

Proceeds will benefit the Canton Food Bank and all contributions — $10 for adults, $20 for families and $3 per student — are tax deductible.

There will be some fun during the event as well. Dog owners have the chance to win a “doggie day spa” and a clown will make balloon animals for the kids.
