Sam Collins Day Overview Schedule
Patch to list many schedules, participants for 17th annual event this weekend.
The 17th Annual Sam Collins Day is slated to take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept 17. (Rain Date Sept. 18)
For the event itself, numerous activities are slated to take place at the field on Canton Springs Road (main site) and downtown Collinsville. A shuttle will go between sites.
Included will be a Business Expo, Taste of Canton, children's activities, live entertainment and more. A Lions Club breakfast will precede the event.

Throughout this week, Patch will list many of the schedules and participants. Following is an overview of the schedule at the main site. Business and community participants will be listed later in the week.

Information about Sam Collins Day, the exhibitors, the events and schedules; info about local groups. Sale of the 2011 17th Anniversary Sam Collins Day T-shirts designed by local cartoonist Brad Gilchrist.
7 to 10 am — Canton Lions Club Pancake Breakfast
Canton Volunteer Fire Company Firehouse on Canton Springs Road. Come enjoy a pancake breakfast, with juice and coffee.
11 a.m. to 4 p.m. — A Taste of Canton Food Court
Local restaurant specialty items in the “Taste of Canton Food Court Tent”. Soda, Water, Beer and Wine available too. No alcohol may be taken off the field. Sponsored and staffed by LaTrattoria Restaurant.
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. — Children’s Activities
Enjoy the many children’s activities including riding on one of the Inflatables in the Children’s area.
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. — Entertainment on Main Stage (times TBA)

10 a.m. to 4 p.m. — Token Booths
There are two token booths on the field, one near the Welcome Tent and one in the back near the Children’s Inflatables. Tokens are $1 each and must be purchased for food, drink and inflatable rides.
