Photographer Collects More Than 1,000 Pounds of Food for Dogs

Owners given mini photo session in exchange for donation.

Tim Brown, owner of TAB Photographic/Muddy Paw Studios in Collinsville collected more than 1,000 pounds of dog food during a weekend fundraiser. 

For the fundraiser, Brown awarded dog owners a mini photo session in exchange for a bag of dog food 17 pounds or larger.

In all, Brown said the following was collected:

  • 1,042 pounds of bagged dog food. 
  • 70 Cans of wet dog food
  • 53.95 Pounds of cat food

The collected food goes to animal shelters. Brown periodically holds the events, which tend to fill up fast. Check his web site or follow the studio's facebook page for updates.
