Collinsville Farmers Market Starts June 10

Old and new vendors part of the mix.

The Collinsville Farmers Market begins its 7th season on Sunday, June 10 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will run every Sunday until Oct. 21. Located in the heart of historic Downtown Collinsville, the market features fresh produce from local farms as well as unique and delicious locally produced specialty items including artisan breads, jams, teas, spices, goat milk cheese, soaps, local wool, honey, maple syrup and much more.

New at this year’s market will be Butterfield Farm with locally crafted goat cheeses and dips from their herd of goats on their farm in East Granby.  Collinsville Baking Company, which was a part-time market vendor last season, is back as a full-time vendor with artisan breads and rolls.  Also moving from a part-time to full-time vendor is Blue Moon Farm, offering locally and naturally raised beef, poultry and pork.  Lastly, Garlic Headz which was also part-time last year will be a full-time vendor this season so customers who love their authentic Italian bruschetta toppings will be able to find them every week.

The Berry Patch, Deeply Rooted Farm,  Maple View Farm,  Wild Carrot FarmGresczyk Farm, Hayward Farm, Lamothe’s Sugar HouseBalladoo Orchids, Hard Rain Farm and the Canton Historical Museum

As well, the market will again feature craft vendors Bittersweet Ridge and Sunfleur Productionswith their woolen products during the autumn  weeks of the market season.  Many other guest vendors will also be part of this year’s market on a regularly alternating schedule.
