Former CHS Field Hockey, Soccer Players Invited to Alumni Games This Weekend

Former Canton field hockey and soccer players are invited to alumni games this weekend. 

At 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 5, both Alumni Field Hockey and Boys/Girls Soccer games will take place on schools fields. Those who want to participate can just come out. Field hockey takes place on the school field and soccer across the street at Bowdoin. 

Jen Peterson, a sixth-grade teacher and 2007 CHS graduate, said the games are a great chance to see old friends and have some fun and a few laughs. People can just come out and need not be in great shape since the game is "half field" and includes everyone, she added. 

"It is a wonderful opportunity to get together to celebrate the legacy of
Canton High School Field Hockey," she said. "It is a chance to reconnect with old teammates whom you may not have had the opportunity to see otherwise." 

Area residents are also invited to the Wall Of Fame Induction Ceremony and Dinner set for Friday, Oct. 4 at 6:30 p.m. in the Canton High School.
