Celebrating a Sugar Bowl Win

Youth Football Warriors B Team receives special jackets in honor of victory.

The Canton Burlington Youth Football B Team Warriors celebrated last fall's Sugar Bowl win with a special banquet and jacket ceremony at the Canton Indoor Golf Center Sunday night.

The team enjoyed a meal, watched video of the game and received the Sugar Bowl jackets. The B team, made up of 11 and 12-year-olds, narrowly defeated Haddam-Killingworth 14-13 last fall to take Sugar Bowl victory, the first such honor in the three-year program.

"It was just a fantastic year," said head coach Charles Bean.
