Track and Field Fundraising Project Committee Looks to Raise $50,000 in 50 Days

Submitted release

The Track and Field Fundraising Project Committee is reaching out to the local community requesting your assistance in our efforts to raise $50,000 in the next 50 days.

Folsom Construction is generously donating the scoreboard plus an additional $10,000 to be allocated toward the bleachers.   Folsom’s generosity coupled with the project’s surplus fund has cut the original targeted goal in half to just $50,000.

By reaching this goal in the next 50 days, the 500-seat expandable bleachers could be completed for the start of the Spring Season making the Track and Field Project fully functional.  The scoreboard is proposed to be complete by March 15, 2014.

As we come to the end of 2013, all donations are tax deductible.  Donations can be made payable to Canton Board of Ed and mailed to Canton High School, 76 Simonds Avenue, Canton, CT 06019 ATTN: Track & Field Fundraising Project.
