Students at Stepping Stones Learn About Public Safety

Students at Stepping Stones Educational Center learned about public safety this week through special visits from police and fire officials.

On Wednesday, Canton Fire Marshal Adam B. Libros and members of the town of Canton Volunteer Fire and EMS Department visited the center.

Libros told students about safety and told them that they played an important role in educating their families.

Firefighters and Libros also showed the kids some fire equipment, a fire engine and how a fully dressed firefighter looks like.

On Monday, police officers visited the school.

"I am just so great full we have such a wonderful community of firefighters and police officers to keep our children safe," said LaNelle Stanhope, director of Stepping Stones Educational Center.
