School Delayed by Snow
Slushy snowfall causes two-hour delay and cancellation of morning kindergarten
The opening of Canton public schools has been delayed for two hours Tuesday and morning kindergarten has been canceled.
The snow that fell overnight doesn't compare with recent heavy snowfalls, but the slushy mixture coated roads. The National Weather Service predicts less than of 2 inches of accumulation by the time the snow ends Tuesday morning.
The day will grow colder and more windy and low temperatures in the single digits are expected overnight.
