Robert Duran of Canton Honored at University of Hartford's Recognition Day

Professor has committed 30 years to school.

WEST HARTFORD (readMedia) — Robert Duran of Canton was honored for his 30 years of service to the University of Hartford during a Recognition Day ceremony at the University on March 8. Duran is a professor of communication in the University's College of Arts and Sciences.

The annual Recognition Day ceremony honors faculty and staff for their valued service to the University. The even recognizes individuals who have completed five, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 and or more years of service to the University.

Chartered in 1957 with the mission to be a "private university with a public purpose," the University of Hartford offers undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs in the arts, the humanities, business, engineering and technology, education, and the health professions.
