Ready for Kindergarten in Canton

Stepping Stones holds graduation celebration.

Twenty students at Stepping Stones Educational Center were honored during a "Blast off to Your Future" graduation ceremony Friday.

The ceremony included several songs, a few skits, the awarding of diplomas to students in the four-year-old nursery school and pre-K programs, and refreshments.

"Mrs. Lee Barba and Mrs. Bethany Cook have done an outstanding Job getting the children prepared for kindergarten," said LaNelle Stanhope who is transitioning to director of the school. "Their hard work and dedication was evident at today's graduation ceremony. This is such a special time of year for all of us at Stepping Stones, as many of this year's graduating class have been with us for three years now. We have watched these children grow from almost the age of a toddler to big kids who are ready to take on Kindergarten. Watch out Cherry Brook here we come."
