Cherry Brook Primary School hosted a Family Math Night Thursday evening.
Lisa Deltano, K to 6 math coordinator for the Canton Public Schools, organized the event, which has been held for the past five years.
About 150 people came out to play fun math games that used cards, dice, art and other methods to challenge students in kindergarten through third grade. Printouts were left for parents who wanted to try the games at home.

It's a great event and is education for the children and parents, Deltano said.
"Parents can learn how to support their children in math — and have fun with it," Deltano said.
