EAST HARTFORD — Goodwin College is pleased to congratulate Lauren Wiedrich on being pinned as a nurse during a ceremony held on Dec. 19, 2013. Wiedrich, a student from Canton, was one of 53 students who were pinned during the evening, marking the successful completion of Goodwin's challenging Associate Degree in Nursing program.
Following the tradition and standards set forth by nursing pioneer Florence Nightingale, Wiedrich and the other members of the cohort were individually pinned by Jan Costello, Chair of the Goodwin College Nursing Department, before reciting their vows by candlelight.
The College extends its best to Wiedrich in all future endeavors.
