Answer this week's question, and we'll list the top choices in Thursday's edition of Patch Picks.

Wednesday is the National Education Association's Read Across America Day, which is celebrated on the birthday of Theodor Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss.

Across the state and the nation, celebrities, elected officials, parents and teachers will be reading out loud to children in our classrooms.

So in the spirit of encouraging reading, we'd like to hear about your favorite books for adults and children. Classic or contemporary, picture books or historical tomes, all suggestions are welcome. Please post them in the comment box below.
