Roadmap to College - class for parents and students

Canton Parks & Recreation is offering a college admissions planning class to help families master the college search and application process and foster teamwork with school counselors.  Information is timely for juniors and useful for underclassmen planning ahead. Parents and students are encouraged to attend together. Parts 1 and 2 will be held on the same day; participants should bring a bag lunch.

Part 1: How to Find the Right College Fit, including the competitive college landscape and how admissions decisions are made.

Part 2: Application Steps and Strategies, including academic preparation, the timeline and technology.
