Kids Care Club learns about giving back

Submitted article

This month members of the Kids Care Club at Canton Intermediate School decorated 24 gingerbread houses made from graham crackers for “We Are the Children” event sponsored by 96.5 TIC FM and Gary Craig.

This event, dedicated to homeless, abused, and handicapped children, is in its 26th year. The C.I.S. Kids Care members brought in bags of candy to decorate their house with. They worked in pairs to construct beautiful masterpieces. The gingerbread houses were delivered to the XL Center in Hartford to display at the “We Are the Children” Party on Christmas Day.
