Over the past five years, donations from events such as the volleyball tournament have raised over $14,000 allowing KEF to build a classroom that now has the name "Canton Intermediate School" on its wall. Thursday night's game was the closest match to date, with both teams giving their all. In the end Cherry Brook was victorious, winning the final game 28-26. The match was refereed by Canton High School volleyball coach and newly elected Canton Board of Education member, Helen Treacy.

Students from the CIS Student Advisory Council (SAC) provided a bake sale for additional revenue, and there was also a raffle with prizes including lunch with CIS' new principal. Event organizer Andy Buckle said, "it's great to see the two schools uniting for such a good cause."
