Case said a delay was possible, depending on road conditions Tuesday morning. However, that would be a decision made in the morning.

"People should stay tuned and will be getting a call in the morning if there is a delay," Case said.

If there is no call it means schools are starting on time.

School was canceled Monday, largely due to road conditions after the blizzard. Monday Public Works Director Robert Martin said much progress had been made in that area and crews were able to widen travel lanes on the town's streets. Part of the department's time Monday was also spent clearing snow from sidewalks at the schools.

This week, Public Works will also work on improving sight-lines and will remove snow in downtown Collinsville Wednesday morning.
