Canton Schools will dismiss early today, according to Superintendent Kevin Case. Release schedule is as follows:
- Morning kindergarten — 10:45 a.m.
- No p.m. kindergarten
- Canton Middle, High School — Noon
- Canton Intermediate School — 12:20 p.m.
- Cherry Brook Primary School — 1 p.m.
Shortly before 10 a.m. the National Weather Service was predicting that snow would would start today, "mainly after 1 p.m" in Canton, with daytime totals of about 1 inch before more snow and then freezing rain tonight.
