Anna M. Robbins has been appointed as the Business Manager of Canton Public Schools. She will begin with the district in early October.
Robbins comes to us from the Consolidated School District of New Britain, New Britain, Connecticut where she was the Director of Finance and Contracted Services. Prior to that, Anna was the Director of Finance and Operations at the Master’s School in West Simsbury. She is also a Simsbury resident.
Robbins holds an accounting degree from the University of Hartford and a School Business Administrator’s Certificate from the State of Connecticut.
Superintendent Kevin D. Case commented, “I look forward to having Anna join our administrative team. Anna has a strong background in financial operations, human resources, facility management, and information technology. Her knowledge and energy will be a positive asset to our School District.”
She replaces Ed Hoyt Jr., who left to work for the Plainville school system.
