The scores from seniors who took the SAT were down from results one year ago, according to data released this week.
In Canton those scores were 545 in critical reading, 551 in math and 549 in writing, according to the College Board. In 2012 those numbers were 573 in critical reading, 582 in math and 579 for writing.
The average SAT scores for Connecticut public school students were 499 for critical reading, 504 for writing and 503 for math.
On Friday, superintendent Kevin D. Case said he wanted time to review the results before commenting.
