Ali Bahre found a way to help.

Canton Middle School student Ali Bahre has raised more than $1,100 for the Sandy Hook School Support Fund by selling bracelets.

After hearing about the tragedy, the 8th-grader wanted to help. She came up with the bracelet idea and sold 1,000 in 3 days.

Jenny Bahre said teachers, police officers, school administrators and others have purchased the bracelets and her daughter sees many people she doesn't even know wearing them.
