Canton Juniors Gather College Information

More than 120 schools represented at fair Wednesday morning.

Getting to Canton High School and finding a parking space was a challenge Wednesday morning as representatives from more than 120 colleges and universities came to campus to talk to members of the junior class.

Approximately 125 juniors attend the college fair. School counselor Seth Korn said the idea was simple — to get the students who haven't already made choices to start thinking seriously about after-graduation plans.

"It's that time of year to start sparking their minds," he said.

Schools represented included many from Connecticut and New England as well as those as far away as Florida. Also in the mix, were a few technical and culinary schools.

"It's a pretty good mix of schools, which is nice," Korn said.
