It was another close outcome at the annual Canton Intermediate School students vs. staff basketball game Thursday night. In the end, however, the students squeaked a 36-35 win during an exciting game in the high school gym.
The event is sponsored by the Canton Intermediate School Parent Teacher Organization.
PTO president Julie Ausere said the tradition is at least five years old and is really about community.
"It's fun for the students and families," she said.
