Breakfast Option Returns to Canton Intermediate, Added at Cherry Brook Primary School

Breakfast is served!  Canton Public Schools, in partnership with Whitson’s Food Services, will again be offering for purchase a nutritious breakfast at Canton Intermediate School, and for the first time, breakfast at Cherry Brook Primary School. 

Superintendent Kevin D. Case states “I am excited that we are able to offer this program. Research continues to show that breakfast is critical to students’ academic achievement. Providing students a nutritious breakfast ensures that they are ready to learn at the highest level possible.”

At Cherry Brook Primary School, breakfast will have to be ordered in advance by parents, and will be offered in five-day school week bundles.  For example, have your order into the school office by Thursday, and your child(ren) will receive breakfast in their classroom on the following Monday through Friday. Canton Intermediate School will offer breakfast in the cafeteria daily until 8:05 am.

Breakfast will cost $1.50 per day ($0.30 for those students who are currently qualified for reduced lunch).  Menus, order forms, and related information is available on the Canton Public Schools website at cantonschools.org.
