Canton High School Students Alex O’Neil and Tom Kelley were among the 350 top Connecticut seniors honored at the Connecticut Association of Schools High School Outstanding Arts Awards Banquet held on April 9 at the Aqua Turf in Southington.
Kelley is most well-known for his saxophone playing and O'Neil for his singing and acting. See attached videos for samples of their work.
The CAS Outstanding Arts Awards Banquet annually recognizes two seniors in each high school for outstanding ability in the performing or visual arts. The students are chosen by their school to receive this honor. The banquet, with over 1,400 in attendance, is sponsored by Jostens.
The Connecticut Association of Schools is a non-profit organization located in Cheshire.
