2011 Graduates Visit Substance-Free Party

Farmington Farms hosts party from Friday night into Saturday.

The recent graduates of the Canton High School Class of 2011 visited the Farmington Farms athletic club for a school-sponsored graduation party. Graduates were transported via bus from Canton High School at 9 p.m. Friday. Kindergarten teachers from Cherry Brook Primary School, some of whom had taught the graduates, greeted students as they entered the facility.

Upon arrival, activites such as tennis, inflatables, live music, and swimming were open for use. Organized events such as a hypnotist, bingo, and tea-cup raffle with donated prizes were also held.

At 3 a.m. Saturday, students were bused back to Canton High School where they partook in an early breakfast, watched a video assembled by students, and raffled off grand prizes including two iPads, LCD TVs, and Kindles.
