What’s Open, Closed for New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day

The following is a partial listing of some of the holiday closings and openings. We will add things as we hear them and readers are encouraged to provide updates in the comments sections. 

Saturday, Dec. 31 

What's Open: 

• The transfer station will operate from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. as normal.
• Most Businesses, although many will close early, such as  at 9 p.m. is open until 3 p.m. Others are hosting special New Year's Eve events. See our arts roundup for some of those events.  
• The AAA office in Avon will be open to process driver’s license renewals during their normal business hours on Saturday, Dec. 31.  
• Canton Public Library

What's Closed 

• Federal and town offices will be closed as normal. 
• Many businesses will close early. 

Sunday, Jan. 1 

What's Open: 

Some Businesses open normal hours include , from 2 to 9 pm. the , LaTrattoria and others. Ace Hardware will open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

What's Closed
