Vote, Support Substance-Free Graduation, Sign Up For A Blood Drive

As residents vote for two projects and a budget in Canton today they have the chance to buy a $5 cow chip raffle ticket to support the 2013 substance free graduation effort. Committee members are selling tickets along Main Street.

In addition, there is a chance to sign up for a July 31 blood drive in the tax office. It will take place from 11 am to 6:30 pm that day.

"The tax collector wants your blood on July 31," said tax collector Lisa Theroux.

Residents can also sign up for the blood drive, to be held at town hall, at  (860) 693-7843.

Polls are open at town hall, 4 Market St. Collinsville through 8 pm
