Romney Wins Primary in Canton
Just 17 percent of registered Republicans cast a vote.

The Republican primary results in Canton were as follows:
- Newt Gingrich - 46
- Ron Paul - 45
- Mitt Romney - 237
- Rick Santorum - 16
- Uncommitted - 3

As of 2 p.m. just 166 of the 2,035 registered Republicans in town had voted in the party's presidential primary Tuesday.

"It's been very quiet," election worker Emil Huyghebaert said.
Evelyn Kubas, who cast her vote Tuesday afternoon said people should still vote even though it looks like Mitt Romney is the party's clear choice.
"It'd be a shame if we didn't get a good turnout," she said.
"We gave a vote of confidence to our candidate," added her husband David.
Polls are open at Town Hall until 8 p.m. Those with accessibility issues can use the lower entrance from the town hall parking lot.
Registered Republicans have the following choices at the primary.
- Newt Gingrich, Atlanta GA
- Ron Paul, Springfield VA
- Mitt Romney, Boston MA
- Rick Santorum, Verona PA
- Uncommitted
