Other facts

I am honored to represent the citizens of Avon and Canton, and I operate from the mindset that every decision I make must reflect the best interests of the families, businesses and seniors of the 17th District. Our representative democracy is the cornerstone of our success as a nation. Since all powers and rights inherently reside with the people, it is the responsibility of lawmakers to determine how those rights are crafted into legislation – a process I take very seriously. My legislative priorities include improving the struggling business climate and continuing to promote the high quality of our educational system. To recover our fiscal health, we have to lower state taxes, reduce spending, and decrease the size of state government, especially in this economic downturn.
