Many events tonight and tomorrow have been canceled because of Irene. The Sunday Collinsville Farmers Market, for example, has been canceled and will resume next week and the Stanley Maxwell Jam and Toy Story 3 scheduled to happen at the Shoppes tonight has been delayed one week as well.
Many businesses, such as Cherry Brook Pizza and Grocery, LaSalle Market and ShopRite of Canton are holding off on decisions about whether to open tomorrow.

- Collinsville Farmers Market: Closed Sunday; will resume from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 4.
- Music, Movies and More at the Shoppes: Set to start at 6 p.m. today (Aug.27) this has been postponed until Sept. 3.
- Crown and Hammer Restaurant will close Aug. 28.
- Collinsville Canoe and kayak will close Sunday, Aug. 28.
- Ecumenical worship service on at the Canton Community Baptist Church had been canceled Sunday, Aug. 28.
- North Canton Community United Methodist Church has canceled Sunday services.
- The first day of school has been postponed from Monday until Tuesday.
