Selectmen Move Forward With Plan to Seek Private Partner for Hydropower Development

By a 3-1 vote Wednesday, selectmen opted to retain the services of consultant to seek a private partner that would work with the town to bring hydroelectric power back to the upper and/or lower Farmington River dams in Collinsville. 

The initial cost for the services of Paul Nolan is $10,000. He would help the town develop a Request for Proposal and help work out details of a potential partnership.
