River Ridge Brings National Ice Cream Float Day to Canton

In honor of the first day of summer, and "National Ice Cream Float" day, River Ridge at Avon, a local assisted living facility, sponsored a special event for people having lunch at the Canton Senior Center, 40 Dyer Ave.  

Fifty Canton and Avon seniors who attend the Community Café lunch program were treated to a delicious, refreshing and cooling treat. It was perfectly timed for a day with record-breaking temperatures. River Ridge at Avon provided the floats as well as River Ridge employees who served the floats: Stacy Kesl, Michelle Gagnon and Jennifer Fitzsimmons.
