If you've ever wanted to see President Barack Obama speak in person, here's your chance.
Obama will speak Wednesday, March 5, at Central Connecticut State University about his plan to increase the minimum wage, and a limited number of tickets will be available for free to the public.
Tickets will be available to the public on Tuesday, March 4, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Central Connecticut State University, William Detrick Gymnasium in Kaiser Hall, 1615 Stanley St., New Britain. One ticket per person will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Event Day Logistics
Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, via the main entrance to the William Detrick Gymnasium in Kaiser Hall. Tickets are required for entry.
All attendees will go through airport-like security and should bring as few personal items as possible. No bags, backpacks, sharp objects, umbrellas, liquids, or signs will be allowed in the venue. Cameras are permitted.
