How to Get Tickets to See Obama Speak at CCSU

A limited number of tickets will be available to the public for free. Here's how you can get them — and when.

If you've ever wanted to see President Barack Obama speak in person, here's your chance.

Obama will speak Wednesday, March 5, at Central Connecticut State University about his plan to increase the minimum wage, and a limited number of tickets will be available for free to the public.

Tickets will be available to the public on Tuesday, March 4, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Central Connecticut State University, William Detrick Gymnasium in Kaiser Hall, 1615 Stanley St., New Britain. One ticket per person will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

Event Day Logistics

Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, via the main entrance to the William Detrick Gymnasium in Kaiser Hall. Tickets are required for entry.

All attendees will go through airport-like security and should bring as few personal items as possible. No bags, backpacks, sharp objects, umbrellas, liquids, or signs will be allowed in the venue. Cameras are permitted.

Again Obama as succeeded ... Give it a rest guys, I've been reading some of these post, and they all seem so far away from the real issues . You guys have behaved rather immature on the whole topic. Seems everyone's got a insult for the next guy. How will we ever resolve real problems here at home ,if this is a example of what is out there that we've elected ..We all have differences , and some can be radical but they can't be worked out if your going to not respect the others view . I t doesn't mean you have to agree. just be civil.....
