Sydney’s winning poster from Canton was then evaluated among all of the fifth grade local winning posters from Hartford County. With her talent, Sydney’s poster was chosen as one of two winning fifth grade Hartford County posters.  Sydney, along with her parents, CIS art teacher Deb Beaudoin, Principal Kevin Hanlon and Fire Marshal Adam Libros will attend an award presentation luncheon on March 22, 2012 for all county winners. The state winning poster will be announced during the luncheon. Sydney received a certificate from the Board of Selectmen, a gift card to Flatbread for winning the local contest and will receive a savings bond at the awards luncheon.

The Office of the Fire Marshal extends its gratitude to art teacher Deb Beaudoin for her continued support and to Flatbread for donating a gift card to congratulate Sydney as the local contest winner.
