Documents for Proposed Canton Projects are Online

Studies, other information available on town web site.

Those who want more background information on the four projects that will be on the November ballot can visit the town's web site to read studies on the proposals. 

The projects include $6 Million for pavement management (roads), $3.2 Million for partial roof replacement at the Community Center and all four schools, $6.75 for a highway garage and related land acquisition and site work and $3.6 Million for a high school track and field project and parking lot reconstruction. The highway garage and roadwork will appear as one question. 

To read studies on the projects, log on to http://www.townofcantonct.org/content/74/14584.aspx. Chief Administrative Officer Robert Skinner said the town would also hand out informational material at Sam Collins Day.

A Special Town Meeting to offer information and gain residents' input is slated for 7 p.m. on Oct. 24. It will be adjourned to the Nov. 6 election.
