Canton Budget Hearing is Tonight

Public invited to comment on proposed Board of Education or Board of Selectmen budgets.

The Canton Board of Finance will host a public hearing on 2013-2014 proposed budgets at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 25.

The meeting is set to take place in the Canton Community Center.

The Board of Selectmen has proposed a $9.5 million budget, a 3.99 percent increase over the 2012-2013 approved budget.

The Board of Education has proposed a $24.2 Million budget, a 3.45 percent increase over the 2012-2013 approved budget.
