One Sent To Hospital After Three-Car Accident on Route 44
Incident occurred at Route 179 Intersection
One person was sent to the hospital after a three-car accident on Route 44 at the intersection of Route 179 early Friday evening, fire officials said.
Canton police, the Canton Volunteer Fire and the EMS Department as well as fire police were on the scene, assisting motorists, diverting traffic, arranging for wreckers and cleaning up car fluids in the roadway.
One person was transported to the hospital, but initial radio reports indicated the injuries were not life-threatening.
