A male Rottweiler was picked up on East Hill Road in Canton and Canton-Avon Animal Control Officer Beverly LaPlume is seeking his owner.
"He is very friendly and looks to be between 5 and 6 years old," she said.
The animal was found on July 4 between the East Mountain and Olson Road.
Anyone who recognizes him can call Animal Control at (860) 409-4205 or the Canton Police Department at (860) 693-0221.
If he is not claimed he will be available for adoption July 15. Anyone interested can call Animal Control.
