Police Seeking Suspect in Foiled Burglary Attempt

Police are still seeking a suspect who attempted to break into a home on Erickson Drive Tuesday afternoon.

A returning homeowner found a man in the process of breaking in around 2:30 p.m., police said. The homeowner was able to scare off the suspect, described as a white male in his 30s with red hair, a black shirt and blue denim shorts.

Police sent out a "Everbridge" alert to homes in the area, which calls landlines with the information. Police also alerted other area departments but the man eluded capture.Anyone with information, can call 860-693-0221.
