A female pedestrian was hit in the crosswalk at Route 179 and Bridge Street in Collinsville at 2:45 p.m. Friday, July 1, police said.
The pedestrian, who was in a marked crosswalk, was hit by a vehicle turning left on Route 179 at its intersection with Bridge Street, police said. The woman was transported to UConn Medical Center with minor injuries. The driver was not injured, police said.
Police are investigating the incident and further details were not released.
