One Patient Sent to Hospital After Crash at Routes 179, 44
Accident occurred at rush hour.
One person was sent to the hospital after a two-car, rush-hour crash at the intersections of Route 44 and 179 Thursday afternoon.
Initial radio reports indicated the injury was relatively minor.
Traffic at the intersection was slowed for a short time as the town of Canton Fire and EMS Department, police department and wrecker crews worked at the scene.
