Firefighters extinguished a small brush fire along the rails to trails near Commerce Drive shortly before 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Fire Marshal Adam B. Libros said the fire was in roughly a 10- by 10-foot area and was quickly extinguished by by members of the town of Canton Volunteer Fire and EMS Department.
He did not have a cause for the fire.
