Members of the town of Canton Volunteer Fire and EMS Department and fire marshal Adam Libros spent a few hours at the ARC of the Farmington Valley, more commonly known as Favarh, Wednesday.
Activities for the Fire Safety Day included safety tips, lessons on smoke detectors, equipment demonstrations and a close-up look at emergency vehicles.
In addition Favarh employee Sarah Lauretti, a firefighter in Winsted, offered some simulations, tips and fire safety materials.
